If you want to
relocate to Turkey it is possible to bring your pet with you. But you will
need to obtain two key documents before your pet can join you.
A rabies
vaccination certificate issued no later than 15 days prior to entry
A United States
Interstate and International Certificate of Health Examination for Small
Animals (also called Form 7001)
If these documents are given by an accredited vet or if they are approved by
US Department of Agriculture accepted by Turkish authorities, the documents
do not need to be legalised by the Turkish Embassys Consular Section or a
Turkish Consulate General.
You may bring
your pet into Turkey under its own passport. But if you return to the UK
your pet would be subject to the usual quarantine laws.
