What sort of documents are required from foreigners wishing to get a turkish
mortgage from a turkish bank?
Social
security record. Payslips for last three months. Passport and a tax number.(Obtained
in Didim)
What is the procedure in a mortgage application?
When a
person makes an application by presenting the necessary documents, the request
is put on hold until the necessary permission is obtained. (normal army check)
The loan is then processed for up to 50% of the value.
What is the interest rate?
0.60% for
USD and 0.70% for EURO
What are the loan periods?
1-20 years
The ratio of sales of off
plan properties is the same as that of finished properties. Are mortgages
available to finance off plan properties?
No. Mortgages are given providing there are no obstacle to the title deeds. If
a property is not built yet, it will not obviously have its title deeds.
Your mortgage will be applied for by you, in person, to the bank in
Turkey.
