The resort of Side, which means “Pomegranate” in an ancient Anatolian language, has a superb location on a promontory jutting out into the blue Mediterranean.
Flanked on both sides by long white sand beaches, the town is surrounded on its landward edge by the interesting ruins of ancient Side, which include a recently restored amphitheatre and an impressive Roman gateway. In the pedestrianised town centre, narrow streets line with shops and restaurants lead down to a small harbour and the impossibly romantic remains of the Temple of Athena. The quiet back-streets are dotted with small family-run hotels and villas with wonderful gardens filled with fragrant blooms.

Location of Side Side is located on the south-western coast of Turkey and under an hours drive away from Antalya International Airport which is currently the biggest charter airport of the country open all year round.
